Q. When will Triangle Systems support for IOF end? A. Support ends on May 31, 2024. The original end date was a month earlier, but was extended to allow time negotiate with a potential successor in interest for IOF product support. Q.Will IOF support z/OS V3? A. Triangle can't comment on z/OS V3 until GA. However, IOF has supported every new JES2 release in the past 40 years. Q. Will IOF quit working on June 1, 2024? A. Triangle will provide no technical support for nor assume any responsibility for IOF usage after May 31, 2024. IOF vendors may offer a code to allow IOF to run without technical support for an additional year (until May 31, 2025), but only for IOF customers who have licensed IOF to run until April 30, 2024 and signed a liability release. Q. Will IOF continue to work on older versions of z/OS? A. If you sign the liability release agreement IOF will continue to run on older versions of z/OS. Q. Will old versions of IOF continue to run? A. If you sign the liability release agreement older versions of IOF will continue to run. Q. Can IOF co-exist with other Spool browser products? A. Yes, IOF can co-exist with any other Spool browser products. |
